"Wonderful caring staff."

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Accident and emergency

I was sent to A & E after ringing the NHS patient help line. I was suffering from chest pain. I was worried and anxious but on entering the department I was first seen by a nurse who put me at ease straight away . The doctor and the nurses were lovely and after many tests , I felt reassured. Thank you to the NHS . You do a wonderful job

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent attendance to the Accident and Emergency, Wigan. I will ensure staff are made aware of your posting, who I am sure will be pleased to hear that you felt reassured and at ease. It is not always in the forefront of a patient or relatives mind to comment about their positive experiences so once again thank you for taking the time to do this.
