"My Healthcare Since 1987"

About: Oak Tree Surgery

I have been a patient with Oak Tree Surgery and its predecessor surgery, The Parade Surgery since 1987.

The level of care I have received in that time has been exemplary.

In latter years, government funding for NHS healthcare has been at best barely adequate.

In spite. Of this the care I have received at Oak Tree has been truly exceptional.

From the reception staff, telephone staff, the medical secretaries and the Pharmacy staff have treated me with the utmost care and consideration and kindness.

The medical staff have, in spite of the increase in patient numbers, always given me the time to explain my problem.

In spite of MS and an incident of stomach cancer, treated early due to excellent healthcare from the surgery and Derriford Hospital I am still going strong.

I have been quite ill lately but the exceptional level of healthcare offered by the doctors and their colleagues, particularly the phlebotomist could not be bettered.

Although under time pressures, the staff always treat me with kindness and respect.
