"Ward 16 and children's A&E"

About: University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust

Last Saturday I had to rush my 3 year old son to A&E due to wheezing. We were taken straight through and he was put on a nebuliser straight away. He then had a further 3 or 4 while we were in A&E. my sons oxygen level kept dipping, therefore we were advised that he would be admitted.

The staff in the children's A&E department (from the receptionist to the doctors) looked after us very well.

We were admitted onto ward 16 (this is the second time we have been admitted to this ward) & the high level of care continued while we were there too. Pete was the nurse who looked after us and made us all feel more at ease.

I would just like to say thank you to all of the staff that cared for my son while we were in hospital. Luckily it was just an overnight stay.

I hope we don't have to come and see you all again (in the nicest way possible)!😀
