"2 hour wait for early morning appointment"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I have always thought of the hospital as an efficient well run place. However, this morning I had an appointment for 9am and wasn’t seen until 11.15. No excuses, the consultants were all available.... loads of banter between staff. I ask twice how long I would be, twice I was told I was next. This was at 9.30 and 11am.....

really appalling as I was advised twice that they were literally viewing my notes.
