"Fantastic Treatment"

About: New Cross Hospital / Accident and emergency

My 84 year old mother, Hyacinthe was brought into A&E at around midnight on Tuesday 10th July by a fantastic ambulance team with suspected sepsis. She was treated swiftly, effectively and respectfully by a really motivated and professional team of care professionals. She’s now on ward A7 being treated with antibiotics. I can’t praise the team in A& E enough. We were there for around 5 hours but they were extremely attentive. My mother received a comprehensive review-including a chest x Ray . It felt very reassuring to be there in their expert care.

Thank you for an exemplary service!

Thank you very much for taking the time to post comments regarding your Mother's patient experience. I will share your comments with the A&E department and wish you and your Mother all the best.

In relation to the ambulance team, if the ambulance was called using the 999 service, this is not one of our services. West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust provide local 999 ambulance services, their details can be found on their website https://wmas.nhs.uk/contact/

Kindest Regards
