"Appointments 2!"

About: The Great Western Hospital

25 minutes being held in a phone queue to get an appointment after several previous failed attempts. The ‘agent’ took my details then told me to phone back next Wednesday for the appointment because my details have now to be processed!!!

So 3 weeks for a doctors appointment to be referred, several days to even get on the phone system to get an appointment now another week to sit in another phone queue for an actual appointment. I live in hope??

Thankfully I very rarely use the doctors/hospital this ‘system’ is a shock to me and must be so hurtful/frustrating for more vulnerable people. In 70 years communications have improved expedentially but GWH’s system is in the dark ages.
