What I liked

I would like to thank the wonderful staff on the day case unit at Macclesfield general hospital, particularly three members. They were all so caring, reassuring and professional. They were very much appreciated. Thank you.

What could be improved

I think on the whole they have the day cases down to a fine art, my only concern was that the post-op care felt slightly rushed, they certainly couldn't get me home fast enough, for me, with such good support from family, this was not too much of a problem, (just a bit of a shock) my concern would be for those going home with less support, but I feel sure they would have contingences in place for individual circumstances.

Many thanks for your positive comments and apologies that you felt rushed into going home after operation. Patient’s feedback is essential to the Trust in order for us to improve our services for all our users.

Your comments will be passed on to the day case unit where we hope the staff members will be recognised. It is always encouraging for staff to have positive feedback and is a boost to morale.
