"My referral, care and life."

About: Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust / Child and adolescent mental health Hinchingbrooke Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I'm recieving care from one therapist (Karen) and one psychatrist (Sarah) in Huntingdon; these are both lovely and very helpful people. My GP referred me when I was 14 because I used to lie alot, and I also had an eating disorder. I also had suicidal feelings and self harmed. I still have suicidal feelings and occasionally self harm but Karen especially has helped me through so much and has honestly saved my life quite a few times. I feel like that CAMHS is such a fabulous service and I'm really glad that it is something people are offered when they need it.
