"Bad experience at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham"

Having just spent some time on a ward at qmc nottingham I had a chance to observe and expierience the nhs today . I have to say I have lost all faith in the nhs after what I whitnessed. Some of the nurses were often engaged in conversation amongst them selves which was none work related . It seemed when some of the nurses had to do something for me they did so and made me feel like I was being a problem . I felt that the staff nurses behavour was absolutlely shocking emergency buzzers are left unanswered for hours , the shear volume of staff and high turn over rota of staff seemed to make matters worse as the more nurses there was the more gossiping happened. I actulally whitness a party (with alcohol) sanctioned by nurses take place.

I felt that the organisation on the ward was poor, and after my experience I would certainly have family members moved and I still worry about patients on the ward today .
