My husband and I were on holiday in Woolacombe recently, I had started feeling a little uncomfortable in my throat and after 2 days realised I needed to have medical attendance.
I went to the medical centre in Woolacombe asking for an emergency appointment,
The Receptionist was very professional and kindly explained there were no appointments there but offered to make an appointment for me at Ilfracombe for 3pm the same day.
I was amazed and very grateful to be seen the same day.
I attended for my appointment and saw a Nurse Practitioner - after examination I was told I needed antibiotics for a nasty infection.
I am so grateful for a first class system.
