My 32 yr old attended CHOC feeling unwell after a game of American football . It was obvious to me a nurse we were in the wrong dept and were promptly signposted to A and E after a very short wait he was triaged and in resus within a few minutes. The department was extremely busy approx 170 patient within an hour. The care he received was professional methodical and prompt. The nurses dr and paramedics involved in his care and transfer to Blackpool were wonderful. They kept us informed. Made us feel confident in what they were doing and above all they were caring, compassionate to both my son and myself. I would like to thank them very much for helping mark achieve a positive outcome in what could of been a fatal situation. They acted fast promptly with professionalism and we are grateful for their loving care and attention Thanku so much julie xx
