I wanted to express my deepest heartfelt thanks and eternal gratefulness for the team at Tameside Hospital. The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions (and hormones) and I wanted to share that the kindness and care that we have received has been meritorious.
From the beginning of our ante natal care in the community and at the hospital the the ante-natal diabetic team, delivery ward, team on ward 27 and last but no means least the NICU. Everyone has been so supportive and friendly and the caring nature that has been shown has meant so much to our family. The understanding that has been shown like arranging for my post-natal check ups to be carried out on Ward 27 so that I didn’t have to wait for the community midwife to call and I could spend more time with our baby. I can not thank all the midwifery team enough for what they have done for our little girl and myself.
Support has also been offered by Homestart, and I can honestly say that without the support from Homestart, Midwifery team and consultants I feel that my success with breastfeeding would not of been accomplished aswell as it has. There was a relaxed, supported, and encouraged approach which was very different from my experience with my first child.
Our thanks also to the team at the parking office. The kindness and compassion that has been shown and interest in how our baby was doing meant so much to us.
It may seem quite small, but the smallest acts of kindness have meant so much. My husband used the parking pass for being with our baby and I had called up briefly with our eldest daughter to see the baby, which meant two cars. I was short of the parking fee by 10p and the kind security staff allowed me to exit. This all took place on an emotional day and may not seem like very much, but it really did to me.
Thank-you does not seem enough to express how gratefully we are to the hospital. We have been overwhelmed with the care, kindness and support that has been shown to us and we will be eternally grateful for the care that has been given to our little girl.
"Amazing, Supportive and Caring Team"
