"Consultant....Gynaecology"

On my recent visit to Rowley I was feeling quite anxious. I was shown to my room within 10 minutes of arriving. It was then explained to me exactly what would be happening.

The consultant came to visit me and the anaesthetist a few mins later. They were both very clear in their explanation and put me totally at ease.

It was obviously difficult to give an accurate time of when my surgery would take place but I waited for approx one hour where, I sat and read a book and tried to stay calm. The nursing staff popped their heads in frequently to give reassurance.

I was walked to theatre by a lovely man who chatted to keep me calm.

Given a spinal for which again every detail/ stage/what to expect was explained.

Surgery was all fine and I was back in my room in no time.

After care was again 5 star .... nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

Another visit from the consultant, a real gentleman.

My stay was for 3 days.

Very clear instructions on my discharge from the hospital.

Please note that I was an NHS referral patient.

Would highly recommend Rowley Hall.....5 star.
