I had a minor surgery of Carpal Tunnel.
The surgeon was a shining example of a member ot eh team
The surgeon was very polite, explanatory and let me make all my own decisions -unlike any NHS treatment i have ever received e.g. going for xrays, and they won't tell you anything, even though it's YOUR bones!
I asked if i could watch the procedure, and both him and the nurse were explicit in making sure i had a great view and that i was comfortable.
I watched with great interest, and the surgeon explained absolutely everything, including why my hand was numbing, and why it won't cause me an issue anymore
4 weeks on, and because of the detailed advice (again, unlike other depts) - my hand is healing very well, and i am resuming normal activities alot quicker than previously when my other hand was operated on by a different surgeon
I can't recommend this Dr highly enough!!
