"Oral Surgery Dept - tooth extraction"

About: Heavitree Hospital

Having been warned by my dentist that the extraction of my molar lower left 6 would be complicated, due to the tooth having had both root canal treatment and a crown, I was dreading my appointment.

However, the team of 3 put me at my ease with a smiling welcome and the dentist talked to me at every phase of the procedure, explaining what was being done, often with a touch of humour. The team earned my admiration for being so cheerful, even at a late hour in the afternoon.

The extraction was carried out skilfully and absolutely painlessly, and I had no pain even after the anaesthetic wore off. This was first class dentistry!
