Hello – we’re very sorry that your nana has died but it sounds like being a patient in the Hospice helped make those last day of her life somewhat easier for you all as a family. Thank you for taking the time to mention the staff and how they cared for your nana as well as you and your whole family - the staff will be able to read your post and will be very pleased to know that the care given made such a difference to you all. It is often such a time of sadness when families are preparing for the loss of a loved one, but as a team, we hope that creating a positive atmosphere and providing quality care continue to be aspects of our in-patient care that is reassuring to patients and families.

I hope you and your family feel this experience will be of comfort as you travel through your bereavement.

Many thanks to you again for taking the time to post your comment on Care Opinion. We very much welcome feedback from people – including those stories that give ideas on how we might improve upon what we do.

Lesley
