"Heart attack admission to Forth Valley Royal hospital"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I attended A& E with arm and chest pains. I was seen immediately and assessed by the A& E ward then transferred to the Cardio ward. The standard of assessment was very professional and the quality of care in what was a worrying time for me was responsive and considerate.

Dear Green Dolphin,

many thanks for taking the time to post about your recent visit to ED.

I will pass on your comments to the staff, it is appreciated when patients take the time to do that.

I hope you are now recovering.

Dear Green Dolphin

Sorry to hear that you have had to come in to hospital with chest and arm pain. It's great to hear that at such a stressful time the Emergency Department staff were able to help you by making sure you were seen quickly and then transferred to a ward in the hospital where we could continue your care. In a situation like that we do aim to respond promptly and, as you say professionally, but I was really heartened to hear that you found staff to be considerate too because that matters just as much as everything else. I know the staff involved will really appreciate your feedback so thank for letting us know about it and I hope your recovery continues to go well.

With best wishes

Catherine
