About: The Orchard Practice

Right .

I am extremely concerned how I have been looked after by this surgery and still struggling .

I work at a dr surgery myself and am completely aware of the pressure we Are all under but I can’t except the poor care I am receiving from my dr .

I had a blood test some time ago where I work and the results showed a underactive thyroid by quite a lot .

So I booked a dr appointment at my own dr. I showed him my test results and all he said was how do you feel , he was very casual about doing another blood test but I said I would and booked to see him after the results had come back. I was sent away with no medication. But clearly should have had .

It still showed a underactive thyroid, so he asked if I wanted to see a consultatant or go on medication , I said well your the dr what do you think , he was very vague and I felt very confused , he asked did I feel this and that , now I don’t think I had any signs but the thyroid was definitely underactive by along way .

So he said I would have to wait for an appt with the consultant.

So I said well I guess I need medication then , so he started me on 25 . And said book to see how you feel , so I did and he said take 50 for a week and see how you feel .he never said come back for a blood test or anything .

That was that , I have had no phone call or anything , so I had another blood test at work and tje dr said take 50 it’s still underactive so I put my 25 prescription into the surgery and changed it to 50 which was excepted .

I still don’t feel right and I feel like I have been left , this is an illness that needs to be addressed not just left to my own devices , the dr needed to instruct me what I should do . And he has failed to do so .

I am actually disgusted.
