"Nurses great. Not impressed with the Doctor"

Attended today following a painful joint in my finger. Not convinced it was an infection I felt I best get it looked at due to being diabetic. I was trained rapidly by a lovely nurse. Seen not to muvpch later by what I assume was a Doctor however he never introduced himself. I found him rude unempathetic and uncaring. Sad on the NHS 70th Birthday I encountered this. The service was very good apart from his immense lack of bedside manner and very very poor communication skills which I feel should be key for the profession.
