I was an inpatient for 6 weeks on Ward 67. Words will never be able to truly capture my gratitude for all the care and kindness I experienced from staff.
The consultant care is outstanding. Medical staff, although busy, spent a great deal of time
explaining and reassuring me throughout my journey of a new and life changing diagnosis.
The nursing staff and support staff were truly wonderful. Regardless of experience or age each staff member demonstrated a high level of professionalism encompassed with great patience and compassion. They were able to adapt to each patient’s mood whether offering humour and encouragement or simply sitting at the side of your bed and listening to your worries and fears.
I entered the ward as an anxious patient, afraid of what lay ahead with my diagnosis but left with confidence and reassurance that regardless of my path an amazing team of health professionals would be involved in any further care.
Heartfelt thank you to all the staff on Ward 67.
"An amazing team of health professionals"
