"Excellent hospital with the best staff -..."

I attended the Dermatology department yesterday to have a cyst removed from my chest. The nurse who performed the operation and the nurse who assisted were both gentle, caring and worked to a highly professional standard. From the beginning of the procedure to the end, I didn't feel any pain or discomfort - not even 'a scratch from the anaesthetic needle'.

Both nurses were pleasant and I was able to have a good conversation with them throughout the procedure.

I chose this hospital in preference to my local hospital in Mansfield which I now boycott due to three separate bad experiences there. Chesterfield Royal is by far a jewel in the Crown of the NHS. This is how all hospitals should perform - but sadly they don't. Highly pleased with my treatment and the care given by all staff involved. A huge thank you.
