"Stobhill unit was my life saver"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Rehabilitation Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as a service user),

I attended this unit for five months in New Stobhill Hospital Glasgow. My balance and mobility was very poor, I attended twice a week for physiotherapy, the staff were fantastic and went the extra mile to help me. I was given exercises and encouragement. Thank you all staff, also tea, sandwich were appreciated also your kindness. Thank you to the occupational therapist dept for aids that assisted me with daily living, I have regained a little independence, the care that I received was excellent I will be forever grateful for all the help I received from all staff at rehabilitation unit. Thank you. I would also like to thank ambulance staff for the help and support in taking me to and from Stobhill, . I had cellulitis and viral infection which affected my mobility I could hardly stand, Stobhill unit was mylife saver.
