"Registered with the practice since 1969"

We have been registered with the practice since 1969. The first doctor we saw was Dr B A E Johns next door to thse the library and later this was transferred to the current custom built premises. We feel that we are lucky to have 6 good and diverse doctors and we haven't come across any weakness in the full medical team. Dr Johns (senior's) son Dr R G Johns was very sound and always seemed to come up with an accurate diagnosis rapidly and quickly put my 1994 angina problem on a stable path, and now with Dr McAvoy's continuing treatment, I forget, and other people don't realise that I've got the condition.

After my wife's heart attack in 2009 and subsequent diabetes {Type 2) diagnosis she is in good shape and and her last check at the Northern General and her recent diabetes checks were pronounced to be excellent by Tricia Smith and Lorraine Tilsley. Many thanks.
