"Still no contact from CMHT"

Further to my post of last night - which has not yet been published interestingly - I would like to update readers to the fact that I have not yet been contacted by my Community Mental Health Team over 24 hrs since the Crisis Resolution Team assured me someone would contact me on Monday.

Dear 'Cameron',

Thank you for posting about your experiences on Patient Opinion.

I just wanted to reassure you that the only reason your first story was not published yesterday was due to us having received a high volume of stories. As you're aware, each story is read by a member of the Patient Opinion team before it is published, so it can on occasion take us some time to get through everything we receive. We always aim to publish stories within 24hrs of them being submitted to the site, and most of the time we do achieve this, but there are busy times when we receive lots of stories and at these points it can take us a little longer.

I think it's important to just clarify that while we're really pleased you choose to share your experiences on Patient Opinion, and hope you will continue to do so, with urgent concerns that you'd like answered fairly promptly by the service it may be worth also speaking to a member of the PALS department (01925 664450) or calling the service directly. I know you're reluctant to speak to the community mental health team again but they may be able to help in a more timely way.

Thanks again for sharing your story - I hope you find the support you need.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that the support just isnt there.
