"My care home"

I have been a resident at Red Rocks since 2011. My room, which is lovely has a wonderful, direct view of Red Rocks beach and Hilbre Island.  This is a place that I have known all my married life and where I brought my children to play on the beach when they were young.  It has been such an important part of my life for so long and meant so much to me to be able to come here. I love the view across the estuary to North Wales and watching the tide and the birds come and go.  I can understand why Sir Peter Scott came here so often. 

The care I receive is excellent and I feel that I am always treated with respect as a person.  This is something that a nursing home should have and something that hospitals do not always manage. 

I enjoy the food, it is like really good home cooking and there is always plenty and everywhere is extremely clean and well maintained. I am very happy here.
