I visited Rapid Chest Pain Clinic in January 2018 to be assessed for any cardiac problems. As a sufferer of Mental Health Issues, I was aware the outcome would be "Anxiety" based. Luckily enough, my heart is fine, but the communication with myself and the leading cardiologist was pathetic!
He asked 'why are you even here' which insulted me gravely! I'd had tests previously to rule out Cardiac problems. Which I am extremely grateful for!
The only reassuring experience I got was that I would be referred to a Cardiac Psychologist. To help me with my chest pains... And I'm still waiting!
