So, my 5 year old had to be taken to hospital with very high temperature and vomiting and after arriving we went to triage with a beautiful nurse. Both ladies have made myself and my daughter feel relieved and calm and they have explained everything in simple terms so that we understand everything. An excellent raport has been built by both of them withy little girl that loathe hospitals. After waiting we were received by the most amazing doctor I could have ever imagined. I gave birth in Barnet General and based on that experience I would have never recommend the hospital to anyone. But after this visit and after this particular doctor, I have changed my mind: the doctor that we have seen is the most humane, kind, caring, sympathetic and relatable person that I have recently met. He managed to make my little girl, Maia, smile and he took his time explaining in vivid detail all that was wrong with her. Unfortunately, the following day Maia took a turn for the worst and I had to be picked up by the ambulance services, and just when I lost all hope the paramedics attending, have proved to me that kindness is still alive and that as a mum, I can relax because I know that my child is safe in someone else’s hands. Upon arrival we were met by the beautiful and gracious nurse, who made and effort of making Maia feel at ease. We then waited for the doctor and yet again we were proved that people do care. Every possible test that all of the above people could have done has been done. I admire and thank all these people that have helped when we needed help the most. Thank you. Cristina.
"The best experience in my entire life."
