Toolk my son to A & E on the 16th June after hours of waiting was told to come back to GPAU in the Monday.
We were seen by a very helpful doctor who after a long wait had spoken to a gastroenterologist who gave my son another prescription and were to be followed up with 2 other appointments, one for a flexi sigmoidoscopy and another for a gastro appointment.
Having not received the flexi appointment within the 7 day time frame, have chased up twice and told did not receive request and would now not get one before gastro appointment on Friday 6th July, have had other test done so hoping for some help.
My son postponed new job start date to the following week, and will now be unable to take time off for a flexi appointment (hoping do at weekends) here’s also hoping he doesn’t get anymore ill and unable to work.
"Flex sigmoidoscopy appointment"
