"Services"

About: Hospital Of St Cross / Accident and emergency

Went to the casualty the nurse was brilliant but the services provided are being cut which is ridiculous considering the size of expanding Rugby and the overload at Walsgrave. I might also state that surely it is putting pressure on the ambulance service transporting patents to Coventry. Fantastic hospital in Rugby being cut to the bone what a waste.

Dear Danny

Thank you very much for posting your review on NHS Choices about your experience of the Rugby Urgent Care Centre at the Hospital of St Cross.

I was really pleased to read you describe the nurse who cared for you as "brilliant".

However, I was sorry to read that you feel that services are being cut at Rugby, and would like to reassure you that this is not the case.

The Hospital of St Cross is so important to us, and we are continuing to expand the services we can provide at the hospital.

Over the last year, we have brought a new mobile cath lab to the site, are about to open a brand new inpatient sleep studies unit, and we are also developing plans for new world-class operating theatres in the future.

We are grateful for all feedback, positive or negative, as it means we can better understand what is important to our patients. Thank you again for leaving your comments on NHS Choices.
