"Day Surgery Unit, Queen Margaret Hospital"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

For the staff in the unit, my surgery was very ordinary and very routine, yet every single member of staff - no exceptions - treated me like I was some one who was very special. I could not be more impressed with their highly professional and friendly attitude,

I had to stay overnight. The tea and toast after my operation was very welcome! But more tea and toast, made with the cheapest white bread , in the evening and then again in the morning was not so good. I did not need much to eat, I was going home soon, but maybe a  biscuit in the evening and a simple bowl of cereal (with the option of that toast) in the morning would have been more welcome.

Dear Lesstoast

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay in day surgery. I'm glad you felt that you were treated as someone special and you were impressed by their professional and friendly attitude.

Sorry to see that you had one too many slices of toast, we do have cereal and biscuits available and disappointed you were not offered these as an option, I will make sure the staff are aware of your comments and make sure that they offer alternatives along with the toast.

Once again thank you for your comments, wishing you well in your recovery

Kind Regards

Nola
