"Absolutely useless!!!!"

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and checked in with reception they found my name on the list and told me to take a seat someone would be out soon for me. This was at 3.15 for a 3.30 appointment. I see others come and go it gets to 4.45 over an hour of waiting watching others get seen and leave. I ask the receptionist what was going on, she phoned the Dr and he had no idea I had been waiting all this time.because the receptionist covering the main girl didn't know how to do her job. All she had to do was call him, but couldn't manage that. So after phoning to Dr he says it's too late he's put me down as a no show and can't see me it will have to be rescheduled! I've been waiting since Christmas for this appointment it has already been rescheduled once though no fault of my own. I'm trying to get the help I need to stop my self from doing something very silly and your services have done nothing to help except make me feel beyond worthless. You encourage people to get the help they need when feeling suicidal off as risk of self harm yet when you get there nothing gets done. Don't know why I even bothered!

We are really sorry to hear about this very disappointing experience you had when attending Highlands House and understand that action has been taken to deal with this particular incident.

We can only apologise that this mistake was made and you have had your time wasted.

We do appreciate that this has caused a delay in you accessing the right service and would hope that we can offer you an appointment as soon as we can.

If you don’t already have a new appointment, or you do and this is a long way off, then please contact the Admin co-ordinator on 01892 709211 explaining the situation and they will try and offer you an appointment as soon as practicable.
