"Hearing aids"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

On thé 30th January I attended the hearing clinic and was assessed for hearing aids. I was told that there would be a six week wait . It is now 5 months and I have been attempting in vain to telephone to try to find out when I can expect some action but am always frustrated by the line being either engaged or not answered.

I think five months is unacceptable even for a sevice which is stretched and would like to know how much longer I need to stay alive to receive my hearing aids. i am over 80.
