Most GPs work part time, some only one day a week, making getting an appointment with your preferred GP extremely difficult.

I have tried multiple times to make an appointment in advance (nothing urgent, said I would wait), and have been told there are non available and for a month and I would have to call for a same day appointment. I have rang recently and been told there is only one slot for the day, and I could not make this due to work/ family commitments.

I was assigned my current GP after my previous doctor left, and am not happy with him. The twice I have seen him, I have found him to be offhandish, and rude. I'm don't mind an abrupt and/or professionally detached manner in a doctor; but I should not be made uncomfortable about any problems I am bringing to my GP.

I will be looking to move surgeries shortly.

On behalf of all the GPs and staff, I am sorry to hear that you have concerns. I can reassure, that we are already working on these issues, specifically looking at ways to improve access.

We have already made some improvements to the booking system and will continue to do all we can to improve access.
