"Thoracic surgery team were amazing"

The surgeon was absolutely brilliant with me and my surgery. Had been very distressed as had never faced the prospect of surgery before and was incredibly pensive. He calmed me very well and I found myself trusting his skills implicitly without question. He even came to see me a couple of times post surgery even though he’s incredibly busy. Hats off to the man. A true professional with a human side....not a robot. The aftercare from the majority of nurses and healthcare staff was exceptional and even though I really wanted to get Home to my daughter I didn’t overly mind staying in as the care and attention was so Amazing. I hope I never have to stay there again of course but for a first time surgical patient I was so impressed and it’s left an indelible positive mark in my life...and 3 scars from the surgery lol! Total respect for what you do and thanks for everything! Ash Shadat
