(as the patient),

Was feeling rather anxious for my operation as I'd previously woke under anaesthetic.

Staff couldn't have been more helpful, spoke through my fears with me. Mr Chesney as well so relaxed and made me feel more at ease. Anaesthetist and staff were funny and spoke me through what would happen and very reassuring. After care was really good staff very cheery and chatty. Even said for husband to come up as I was only one left in ward rather than be myself.

WELL DONE. To all staff involved in my care at day unit queen Margaret hospital dunfermline fife.

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback about your experience in day surgery, your kind comments will be appreciated by all of the staff. Sorry to see you have had a bad experience in the past with anaesthetics but glad to see that we were able to make you feel at ease and were very reassuring. Our aim is patient centred care and it seems we got it just right for you, once again thank you for your lovely comments. I will share them with all of the staff. Wishing you well in your recovery.
