My 85 year old mother admitted with heart failure, I rang and asked for an update the nurse started laughing, I immediatley asked what was funny and her attitude is appalling... she stopped laughing and NO apology given she then just said NAME ! ! !
The following morning I spoke to a nurse whoat first was OK although there was a language barrier.....
I explained to the nurse that as my father was 87 he gets confused, so apologies for me calling but we need to know whats happening, she then said well "SHE'S not confused now "
Well now Im confused as my dad is definitley a HE , so I asked sorry who isnt confused .. the reply simply 1 word
SHE ! !
Absolutley disgusted as the applalling attitude from some staff, and the NHS should NOT be employing staff who are unable to communicate in a civil & polite manner.
Official complaint now being filed
"STAFF ATTITUDE IS APPALLING"
