My 96 year old father was admitted with a severe UTI and urine retention because of an enlarged prostate. I had been visiting my parents from abroad for a prolonged holiday when he entered hospital. He was in the SAU for three days and then transferred to the Montacute ward. I visited him every day with my 90 year old mother and was most impressed with the level of care shown. I would like to thank the staff for their patience, their dedication and care for my elderly father. They saw to his comfort and needs with respect and professionalism, and willingly addressed all our concerns and discussed his progress with us. I do remember Aimee particularly and Allison, but unfortunately the other names escape me, so sorry but do remember you all who helped with his care. His meals were wonderful, he was allowed to choose what he liked to eat. My grateful thanks to the Montacute Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, other staff involved in his care who I didn't get to meet and not forgetting Sophie? Occupational Therapist, for making his stay so comfortable. You guys rock
