"Thyroid problem"

I was referred to the endocrinology clinic at Southend hospital by my GP.

I didn't have to wait too long for my appointment and was treated with care, respect and cheerfulness by everyone that I encountered, from the young man who booked my appointment and rang me back promptly, twice, to answer the queries that I had left on their answering machine, to the consultant that dealt with me. At no point did I feel rushed and he dealt with me as a person, not a list of symptoms.

I came away feeling reassured. I couldn't have asked for better treatment.
