Dear Sirs,
For the past 5 / 6 years I've had some issues. Then after various treatments a genius (Professor) suggested a MRI scan where a tumour was found on my spinal column. In 3 years if untreated I wouldn't be able to walk. Ive have the op and I'm recovering well, feeling much much better within days. Thanks to the doctor.
I can be critical of the NHS but I must say any criticism I air is of the system not of the staff.
This episode has exposed me to the most wonderful, professional, caring, beautiful people you could ever wish to meet. In such a difficult situation we have laughed and cried, shared stories and i feel have grown to be friends. The staff at the Hallsmshire have been truly amazing. I have the up most respect for the skills they posses from the Professors, Surgeons, Nurses down to the auxiliary staff. We have been treated like guests.
Obviously I hope I make a full recovery but I know whatever the outcome, they have done their very best to ensure I and every patient gets the best chance possible.
I thank everyone concerned. They deserve a very big medel. Very very very special people. Especially on K and N wards. They will stay with me forever.
My sincere thanks and best wishes. Please pass this on to the people concerned.
Yours
Mark
