My mum was admitted to Hairmyres hospital with a virus which had made her seriously dehydrated and a very fast heart beat, she was taken to resusc to get fluids and was looked after extremely well. I wanted to in particular thank the nurse who was working that day, his name was Thomas ( I forget his surname ) but his sense of humour and professionalism was very much appreciated, he noticed things very quickly that there were heart issues and was extremely quick in responding/picking up behavioural cues from my poorly mother when she needed oxygen etc due to her raised pulse/heart beat- I very much appreciated this. This was in A and E in mid April with a cardiologist present and the nurse Thomas - thank you- I would like this thanks passed to him if possible. She was admitted for 1 week to cardiology and received good care of which I am very grateful.
