I have been a patient at the Royal Brompton since 2016. I came for investigations. I already had a diagnosis which turned out to be a misdiagnosis. Being investigated at the Brompton was life changing for me. The journey towards diagnosis was long.
I met so many lovely, skilled, professional, profoundly knowledgable and kind people along the way.
Even now in Cardiology outpatients I see different doctors but the they are all without exception, kind, professional, so knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with you. I feel safe and cared for.
Thank you.
To the doctors in Cardiology: you may only see me once. I understand that you see many, many patients and will not remember them. That’s understandable. I see a limited number of doctors ——I remember them all.
Without exception I have been treated with respect, kindness and humanity by all the staff I have come into contact with. A million thanks to you.
