"Is there anybody there?"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

My 22yr old son was referred for urgent treatment by the community dentist on 17th April as he needs complete evacuation and is in immense pain. He has a very bad phobia of dental work too.

3 months later we haven't heard anything from them and we have tried ringing on numerous occasions but no one answers the phone. My son works from 8.45am until 5pm every work day and is desperate to get in touch to find out when he can be treated. He also suffers from depression and I am seriously worried about his having to cope with the pain and feeling like he has been forgotten. He needs to get this over with and no one is there to speak to him.

Hi Heather, we're sorry to hear that you have not been able to get through to the department and are still waiting for an urgent appointment. We would appreciate it if you could contact our Patient Relations team on 01539 716621 to allow us to investigate this further. Thanks again, and hope to hear from you soon.
