"Cornea clinic"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Ophthalmology

I was referred to the ophthalmology department back in February this year with a very sore right eye. Turns out I had a corneal ulcer which I was told on my 1st appointment was very serious. I was admitted into qmc were I spent 12 days having intense treatment to the eye then sent home to carry on with the drops having weekly check up to make sure the ulcer was healing. Today was my last follow up appointment and I'm glad to say I've been discharged.i would just like to thank the consultant and his team without these wonderful talented people I still have my sight in my right eye not as good as it was but I have sight. They all work really hard in what I see is a very busy Tuesday afternoon clinic.Thank you all so so much for everything you have done for me over the last four months I shall miss seeing you all

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at the eye clinic.

I'm very pleased to hear that you are now discharged and recovering.

I've shared your kind words with the clinic team, we all wish you the very best.

Kind regards
