Our daughter was admitted several years ago, having been in hospital in Blackburn and having virtually given up on life. When she arrived at the Junction she was so weak that she had to use a wheelchair to get around in. She stayed there for three months and, in short, she turned a corner. Slowly, very slowly, she recovered her will to live and she began to put on weight. We brought her home, and she gradually resumed normal life. Her brother is a fitness trainer and he took her under his wing. She is now in her twenties and is a healthy weight. She trained as a beauty therapist and (amazingly) she also instructs classes in adult fitness. Thinking back to those dreadful days when we too had largely given up hope, we are so grateful to God and to the staff at the Junction for the life of our lovely daughter. She even became pregnant (something that her doctors had told her would probably never happen due to her history with anorexia) and she gave birth to our beautiful granddaughter.
