I had a seizure whilst on holiday last year and then reported it to my GP on my return, it then took 5 months (not the average 74 days) before I was seen by the neurology doctor who I have to say was very professional, answered all the question that I had and explained what would happen from then on.
The doctor then said he would organise an MRI scan which happened with a few weeks. A month or so after that I received a letter stating that I will require a second scan as the first hadn't looked at a certain part of my brain, 6 months on I am still waiting for this scan.
I also received a letter confirming my follow up appointment. Unfortunately I couldn't make the date suggested so I phoned and left messages with all the required details to contact me on 3 occasion but with no response, I also emailed twice and eventually (after 4 months) received a letter stating my appointment had been cancelled, I am now waiting for a new appointment.
To cap it off I would like to speak to the doctor or the department secretary as I am in the process of applying for my driving license, but once again it is impossible to speak to anyone over the phone.
"Not great"
