"Cannot fault Gloucester Royal"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

I broke my ankle up at the crem three weeks ago, the paramedics, nurses, theatre staff, surgeons etc were all cheerful, friendly, caring and helpful, everyone explained what was happening and why it was being done at every stage. I have had two ops on the ankle and while I was in hospital I was regularly asked how my pain levels were and if I needed any relief, when I returned to the ward after an op I was asked if I'd like a cup of tea, nothing was too much trouble. One night the nurse brought round some wipes soaked in cold water so we could wipe our faces which I thought a very kind gesture. I could write pages about the kindness of the staff at Gloucester Royal, I could fault nothing at any stage of my stay.I still have a way to go in my recovery and will have several more appointments but my very positive experience at the hospital has meant that I have less worries than I might otherwise have done. So thank you everyone for your kindness and support.
