"Wrist fracture"

About: Worthing Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

A and E were excellent as were x-ray and especially the ladies in the plaster room.

My 2 follow up appointments were very quick and efficient

However when I came out of plaster I was told that I needed to have physio immediately and that hopefully they would be able to sort the displacement out with exercises and if not I would be referred back to the consultant for an operation. I rang physio but was unable to make an appointment without my referral letter- this arrived today-8 days after the cast was removed. I rang physio and the earliest appointment was 26th June-nearly 4 weeks later!!!! Crazy

Oh and the department I visited was trauma but that doesn't appear as an option
