I went there as advised by my GP to get assessment done for Bipolar. So that my GP could put me on the correct medication to reduce further manic depressive episodes.
Didn't go very well.. the person who was assessing me wasn't a doctor they felt like a newbie admin.
They weren't assessing me for bipolar they were assessing me for access to their mental health services (which I never asked for). They were asking me for details on my day to day living but nothing that relates to bipolar.
Halfway through they said "I'll be honest with you what your describing doesn't sound like bipolar" - obviously when your not asking me actual questions about the condition.
Also they were not listening to the details I had wrote down prior to the assessment.
At the end they are like "yeah I'll speak with my supervisor but don't think we can help you".
"Still need a bipolar assessment"
