"How long to get an appointment."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I have had balance and vertigo problems since the middle of March 18. I was sent to the Leicester Royal to be checked at the stroke clinic who I must say were excellent. Five weeks ago my Doctor and the stroke clinic both agreed I should be referred  to the ENT/Dizziness department at the LRI.

In early June, I received an appointment for the early September. Another 3 months before I can get any help. What a Joke.

Dear reviewer,

We are sorry to hear about the issues you are currently facing with getting an earlier appointment.

So we can look into this further for you, could you please email communications@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with more details.

Someone from the team will be able to respond and investigate for you.

Alternatively, we have a service known as the Patient Information and Liaison Service who can look into your queries and concerns about any of the services provided at Leicester's Hospitals. You can call them on 08081 788337 or email pils@uhl-tr.nhs.uk - they are open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.

Kind regards,

The Communications Team,
