Being a hospital phobic I wasn’t looking forward to a my visit especially after my visit to Ashford’s rotary emergency eye clinic. See that review under ‘Puzzled’.
What a difference at Buckland, easy parking, happy staff, appointments roughly on time, etc.
Saw the consultant who was very professional and had a sense of humour.
Returned 2 weeks later for the procedure, and with the help of a bit of diazepam and very considerate staff I was relaxed as I was ever likely to be !
I wish all hospital could have this professional calm approach for the benefit of patients who are all likely to be under a certain degree of stress.
Yes, I know it’s a small hospital, but the manic disorganised setup in larger hospitals that I’ve visited is detrimental to staff and patients.
WELL DONE THE BUCKLAND OPHTHALMOLOGY DEPARTMENT.
"Excellent"
